If You have become a father or adopted a child, you may be entitled to one or two weeks of paternity leave and Ordinary Statutory Paternity Pay. You are qualified for this allowance if You have worked for the same employer for at least 26 weeks, 15 weeks before the delivery date or child adoption. You must earn a gross minimum of £ 116 per week.

 

Statutory paternity leave for eligible employees is £ 145.18 per week or 90% of  Your average weekly earnings.
